MetroMamma Makes a Commitment to Fighting Breast Cancer Forever!

MetroMamma Founders lend their business and their legs.

Los Angeles, CA - August 20, 2007 – MetroMamma™ founders Carie McNeil and Leah Mamone, creators of the popular, MetroWrap™ baby carrier, would like to announce their participation in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer This October 2007.

"The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer effort is a passion for us. Every woman has been affected in some way by this disease if not directly. We want to do our part in defeating this disease and overcoming this great disparity," comments Carie McNiel.

Carie and Leah have made a commitment to raise awareness for the Making Strides Against the Breast Cancer cause for life! Upon creating the MetroMamma logo design they decided to incorporate the color PINK so that MetroMamma too would be a constant reminder of this disease. In addition; this dynamic duo has extended their efforts to recruit a team of walkers who will be participating in the local Las Vegas walk, home to MetroMamma headquarters. Carie and Leah will also lend the MetroMamma website to the cause but creating a separate page that will allow visitors to go to their website www.metromamma.com and make a cash donation. In addition to the revenues that the MetroMamma team raises for the Making Strides walk they are also going to donate 10% of the MetroWrap revenues from www.metromamma.com for the entire month of October to the American Cancer Society.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is the American Cancer Society's premier event to raise awareness and funds to fight breast cancer. This amazing event celebrates breast cancer survivors, educates women about early detection and prevention, and raises money to fund lifesaving research and support programs.
